Windows 10 Migration for a Major Bank Infographic
A major national bank has been a customer of Teksetra for more than 30 years. Teksetra’s partnership started with this longtime customer by servicing all equipment in the bank’s retail branches, including repair and support services for their teller line devices (check scanners, receipt printers,) desktop devices, printers, and servers. Teksetra’s partnership grew with the bank by expanding service offerings into other lines of business such as project management services, relocation services, and installs/moves/adds/changes (IMAC) work.
In late 2017, as Teksetra continued to provide consistent project services and maintain a trusted partnership with the bank, Microsoft announced that Windows 7 would become obsolete on January 14, 2020. At this time, the bank’s lifecycle refresh team started talking to Teksetra about the need for Windows 10 upgrades on all of their employees’ PCs. Because Teksetra has been a successful part of the lifecycle vendor team for more than 10 years, the bank elected to use us for the Win 10 upgrade project.
