A major national bank has been a customer of BLM Technologies for more than 30 years. BLM’s partnership started with this longtime customer by servicing all equipment in the bank’s retail branches, including repair and support services for their teller line devices (check scanners, receipt printers,) desktop devices, printers, and servers. BLM’s partnership grew with the bank by expanding service offerings into other lines of business such as project management services, relocation services, and installs/moves/adds/changes (IMAC) work.
In late 2017, as BLM continued to provide consistent project services and maintain a trusted partnership with the bank, Microsoft announced that Windows 7 would become obsolete on January 14, 2020. At this time, the bank’s lifecycle refresh team started talking to BLM about the need for Windows 10 upgrades on all of their employees’ PCs. Because BLM has been a successful part of the lifecycle vendor team for more than 10 years, the bank elected to use BLM for the Win 10 upgrade project.
